Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets out prohibited and required behaviours for all Users, Students and Subscribers using The Knights of Safety Ltd.™ (TKoS) Academy services.
1. Scope
This AUP applies to all access and use of TKoS platforms, learning content, dashboards, integrations and related services.
2. Prohibited conduct
Users must not use the Services to:
• Upload, store or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, hateful or discriminatory
• Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of any person
• Upload malware, spyware, viruses or any code intended to damage or disrupt systems
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts, systems or networks
• Send unsolicited bulk communications in breach of applicable spam laws
• Harvest personal data from the platform for resale or profiling without lawful basis
• Use the Services to operate a data brokerage, ad exchange or similar prohibited data commerce
3. Account security and credentials
• Subscriber and Permitted Users must keep passwords and API keys confidential
• Shared or generic account credentials are not permitted for named user licences
• Subscriber must revoke access for departing users immediately
4. Student conduct and content
• Students must respect course authorship and not reproduce course content beyond permitted licence terms
• Students must not post abusive comments or material that materially disrupts learning activities
• Any user generated content submitted to TKoS may be moderated, removed or blocked where it breaches this AUP
5. Enforcement and remedies
TKoS may investigate suspected breaches. Where a breach is found TKoS may, at its discretion:
• suspend or terminate accounts or access
• remove or block content
• require remedial action by the Subscriber or Student
• report criminal activity to the relevant authorities
6. Reporting
Report suspected breaches to [email protected] including relevant details and evidence.
7. No collection of Sensitive Personal Information
Unless expressly agreed in writing, the Services must not be used to collect, store or transmit Sensitive Personal Information. If sensitive data processing is required the parties must enter a separate written agreement.
8. Changes to this AUP
TKoS may update this AUP with notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
